Stacy joins ABL Law after serving seventeen years as a law professor for a Jacksonville area law school. As a law teacher and scholar, Stacy was actively engaged in the development of legal theory and application, particularly with regard to constitutional issues and individual rights. She is the author of several law review articles and has proven herself to be a valuable participant and presenter at various national legal conferences.
Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University and her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University. She graduated from law school 5th in her class, summa cum laude, and served as the Technical Editor of the law review as well as the President of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Stacy began her career as a state appellate and federal trial court law clerk, where she was actively involved in researching an unlimited range of issues and working on hundreds of trial court and appellate opinions and orders. During her tenure in academia, Stacy served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of the Law Library. In both those roles and as a faculty member, she spearheaded a variety of law school and educational initiatives. Within the Jacksonville community, she has served as president of the Catholic Lawyers Guild, a board member for the Women’s Help Center of Jacksonville, a committee chair for the Ronald McDonald House “Walk in Their Shoes” 5k & Family Day, and as an instructor for the Wounded Warrior Project Advocacy Training Program. She was also invited to participate in Remembering for the Future Community Holocaust Initiative in connection with her Legal Perspectives on the Holocaust class, a course that coincided with the Jacksonville Public Library exhibit Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race.
In her spare time, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, and staying informed of current events.
With a wealth of experience in research and writing in complex legal matters, Stacy provides litigation and general counsel services to a variety of ABL clients.
